Sexual Abuse & Assault
People are more likely to be sexually abused/assaulted by someone they know, love, or trust. Advocates respect that it is difficult to seek support, build trust with others, and start the healing process with someone you have never met before.
Services for Teens and Children
Prevail offers age appropriate supportive services to children who have experienced sexual assault or molestation. Supportive services are also offered to the non-offending parents or loved ones of those who have experienced violence.
For anyone under the age of 18, when you tell an adult, they are required by law to report it. You get to decide how much of this story that you ever tell anyone.
It’s important for you to know, whatever happened is not your fault. Prevail cares about your safety. We are here for you through your healing journey.
Prevail reserves the right to speak to and provide emergency services to underage individuals without parental consent, in an emergency or crisis situation only. Prevail cannot provide any on-going or follow-up services to unemancipated minors without their parent or guardians consent.
