Healing for Survivors
You might feel certain that you are in an abusive relationship. Maybe other people have just expressed concern for your relationship. It is also okay if you are not sure. Abuse is much more than physical violence. Any time a partner is using power and control there is an imbalance and reduced safety.
Support for Children
Prevail also offers supportive services for children who have witnessed or experienced family abuse. These services coincide with adult domestic abuse services. When trauma happens, it affects the entire family.
We care about your child’s safety. Although people cannot prevent abuse and crime from happening to them, youth who have a sense of “what to do” report feeling more capable and less anxious.
